At the CFSGE Foundation, we understand the importance of honoring and celebrating the cultural heritage of Indigenous Peoples in our community. Throughout the year, our dedicated Indigenous Services Team plans and organizes a range of culturally significant events. These gatherings play a vital role in strengthening community bonds, encouraging cultural teachings and learning, and fostering a sense of belonging.
However, to make these opportunities, and others possible, we rely on the support of our community. Government budgets often fall short, and it is through the generous contributions from supporters like you that we can continue to offer these important gatherings.
Funds raised in Grand Erie will support life-enriching and culturally immersive programming for Indigenous children and youth involved with Child and Family Services of Grand Erie.
Our Mission
Your financial contribution to our Indigenous Programs Fund directly enables us to:
- organize and host culturally significant and special events.
- support cultural opportunities for wholistic connection to Indigenous traditions and culture.
- ensure that Indigenous children and youth in the Grand Erie region have access to culturally enriching experiences that strengthen their sense of identity and community.
- provide Indigenous children and youth with opportunities to build and maintain their self-esteem and well-being.
Your contribution to our Indigenous Programs Fund will enable us to sustain and expand these important events, ensuring that the voices and traditions of Indigenous communities are honoured, respected, and cherished.
This fund and its purpose are one of the many commitments made towards Truth and Reconciliation.

All funds received will be equitably distributed among the programs and services offered to Indigenous children and youth in the service of CFSGE in the City of Brantford, Counties of Brant, Haldimand, Norfolk, and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.
