🍋 LemonAID for Children’s Aid: is a province-wide event held in warmer months, hosted by multiple Children’s Aid Foundations, each raising funds and resources to support programs that enhance the safety, well-being, equity, inclusion, and confidence of children and youth.
Funds raised in Grand Erie will support life-enriching and culturally immersive programming for those involved with Child and Family Services of Grand Erie.
Our Mission
Imagine being a child who wants to go to camp, join a team, or learn something new this summer, but the opportunity simply is not accessible due to poverty. Through LemonAID for Children’s Aid, donors across Grand Erie come together to change that story.
LemonAID is a province-wide campaign that turns simple acts of generosity into life-changing summer experiences for children and youth supported by child welfare. For many of these young people, poverty creates barriers to the kinds of experiences that help build confidence, belonging, and healthy development.
With community support, those barriers can be removed.
Your donation helps provide:
☀️ Summer Camp Supporting more than 350 children each year to attend camps tailored to their interests, abilities, and individual needs.
🎯 Extra-Curricular Activities Opening doors to sports, arts, and community programs that build confidence, friendships, and connection.
🌿 Cultural Enrichment Helping youth stay connected to culture, identity, and community through meaningful events and learning opportunities.
💼 Youth Skills Development Providing practical certifications such as First Aid, CPR, babysitting courses, Smart Serve, and other educational programs that prepare youth for independence and employment.

It also funds their registration with local non-profit organizations across Grand Erie that deliver these programs. This creates a ripple effect by strengthening community services while helping young people thrive.

Distribution
All funds received will be equitably distributed among the programs and services offered to the children and youth in our service in the City of Brantford, Counties of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk, and Mississauguas of the Credit First Nation.
Deadline
Registration for LemonAID Days opens in March and closes when the weather gets too cold for lemonade stands. LemonAID Days are held in the warm months by multiple Children’s Aid Societies across the province.
